Admission Process

The admission process at Ankur School is designed to be simple, transparent and parent-friendly. From initial inquiry to final enrollment, each step is clearly outlined to guide the parents smoothly through the journey. Admission is granted based on age eligibility, availability of seats and fulfilment of admission criteria. We welcome students who are eager to learn and grow in a nurturing and well-rounded educational environment.

Admission To Nursery

  • The admission is subject to the guidelines issued by the District Education Office of U.T. Administration Chandigarh
  • Seats are reserved for
    (1) EWS/Disadvantage Group (25%), under RTE Act 2009
    (2) The wards of Panjab University employees

Admission From Classes L.K.G TO IX

  • Admission to these classes is subject to the availability of seats

Admission To Class XI (Commerce/Humanities and Science)

  • Before the declaration of CBSE result, provisional admission is given on the basis of Pre-Board result
  • Total Number of Seats: 40 (in each of the streams)
  • School Timings: 8.00 am to 12.30 pm (in Summer) 8. 30 am to 1.00 pm (in Winter)
  • All Saturdays will be working except Second & Fourth Saturday

Criteria

FOR THE INTERNAL CANDIDATES:

  • 75% and above Medical and Non-Medical
  • 65% and above for Commerce
  • 60% and above for Humanities

Note: The full fee concession for EWS/ disadvantaged students is only till class VIII.
(No fee concession in classes IX onwards.)
