Ankur School, Sector 14, PU Campus, Chandigarh, marked Library Week from August 4 to 12, 2025, with a range of activities fostering a love for reading, creativity and literary appreciation. The celebrations, honouring Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, included book symposiums, exhibitions, poster-makingcompetitions, DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) sessions and the “Books and Beyond” event featuring book reviews, poetry and multimedia presentations, culminating in Grandparents’ Day on August 12, where grandparents were welcomed to a special programme featuring welcome songs, performances and storytelling. Principal Ms. Aruna Dhiman praised the enthusiastic participation, describing the event as “A memorable blend of learning, joy and intergenerational bonding.”
